What is a PAC or STAC code?

A PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) or STAC (Service Termination Authorisation Code) is a nine-digit code you need when switching mobile providers. To bring your existing number to O2, you’ll need to provide us with a PAC code. To switch to O2 without bringing your number, you’ll need to provide us with a STAC code.
